Elizabeth Cheryl is full time writer. Her mother, Cheryl and her family were from Newton, a small town in Massachusetts. Elizabeth has always been fascinated by the hysteria of the Salem witch trials. She spent many years researching the phenomenon of witchcraft in Europe and New England. The Salem outbreak occurred during a very short time in history, but its magnitude of brutality-based on delusion, ignorance, and greed-was immense. She created her heroine, Abigail Parker, to dramatize the events of the witch trials. She is currently working on a sequel, with plans for at least two or three more books to follow in the series.
